Forging Japanese Swords

Pierre NadeauPierre Nadeau is a fifth year traditional swordsmithing apprentice in Japan under Kiyota Jirokunietsu, a swordsmith of the Kawachi Kunihira Ichi-mon. This group has produced six independent smiths to date in the Bizen and Soshu traditions, including Kiyota, under whom Pierre was allowed to enter this mysterious world.

This site is intended as a window into this peculiar world as well as a ressource for those whishing to learn more directly from the source.
