On my first Sunday off since I came to Japan this time, I was invited to my village's
local matsuri (festival). Every place in Japan has its own matsuri. It's a just a day in the year
when people gather, drink, smile a lot and thank nature for what is.
Pour mon premier dimanche de congé depuis que je suis arrivé au Japon, j'ai été invité
au matsuri (festival) local de mon village. Chaque endroit au Japon a son propre matsuri. Il s'agit
simplement d'une journée dans l'année où les gens se rassemble, boivent, rient beaucoup et remercient
la nature pour ce qui est.
Carrying the "omikoshi" (hidden behind the men on the front) - It's like taking the local divine being for a walk...
Promenant le "omikoshi" (caché par les hommes de devant) - Un peu comme promener la divinité locale....

And new babies follow with their mother for a good life
Et les nouveaux bébés suivent avec leur maman pour une bonne vie
And then the divine being is brought back to its shrine
Puis la divinité est reconduite au sanctuaire
